Ignition Review

Separate casino and poker bonus terms

In our test, Ignition was the rare account where a single deposit funded two separate bonuses, and that is still the strongest reason to open one.

IgnitionFull review

One deposit, two bonuses

Ignition matches a first deposit twice over: 150% toward poker up to $1,500, and a separate 150% toward casino play up to $1,500, for a $3,000 combined headline, both live from the same deposit. Each half carries its own rollover rule, so a poker player and a casino player can claim the same offer and clear it on entirely different terms rather than one shared condition.

Bonus rules and game contribution

Two numbers set the shape of any bonus here, and both are printed in the terms before you deposit anything. $20 is the smallest deposit that activates one, unless a specific offer states otherwise, so you can size a first deposit around what you actually want to play with. Second, while a bonus is active, the largest single casino bet allowed is 20% of the deposit, so $100 in caps you at $20 a spin or a hand, a speed limit rather than a trap once you know it is there.

Contribution decides how fast that requirement clears, and it is simply the share of each bet that counts toward the total you must wager. Ignition publishes a full rate ladder rather than the usual two or three tiers: slots and specialty games count 100%, so a dollar bet is a dollar of progress. Table games count 20%, video poker plus Blackjack and Reels and Wheels XL count 10%, roulette and baccarat count 5%, and Double Deck Blackjack counts 2%, fifty dollars wagered for one dollar of progress. Craps, Hot Drop Jackpots, single-deck blackjack and live dealer tables count 0% and are also off-limits to bonus funds outright, with an exception for the live dealer bonuses issued to VIP players. Bets draw from the bonus balance first; once that is empty, withdrawable funds take over, and a bet spanning both splits any win back in the same proportion the stake was. Cancel a bonus before its requirement is cleared and everything it generated, itself included, is forfeited rather than converted. The terms carry a worked example so the arithmetic is not left to you: $500 staked on slots contributes the full $500, the same $500 on table games contributes $100, and on roulette it contributes $25. System bets are excluded entirely.

Where that ladder can turn against you is the clause that reads it backwards. Ignition treats a change of gaming pattern mid-clear as bonus abuse, and names the manoeuvres: moving from a low-weighted game to a high-weighted one, two-tier betting where a big stake goes on a high-variance outcome before you switch back to finish the rollover, halving your bets once the balance is up, and using a game's double-up feature to inflate a win. Betting red and black together, or player and banker together, is its example of a bet placed without risk, and it earns no credit. The practical reading is that the ladder rewards picking one game category and staying inside it.

Claiming happens under Rewards in the account dashboard rather than the cashier: a Claim button for a cash bonus lands the money immediately, a Deposit trigger arms a match bonus for your next deposit, and a code from email goes in a field on the same page. One offer applies per person, household, address, payment method, phone number, device and IP address, and welcome offers are for new accounts only. Two smaller rules decide whether an offer is available at all. A deposit made by Voucher cannot carry a bonus, and no-deposit credit such as a free chip cannot be mixed with a deposit: deposit while one is live and the money lands in your balance, but that bonus's rollover and cash-out ceiling keep governing everything until the balance falls back to the deposit plus whatever you held beforehand. Free bonuses also cannot be taken back to back without a deposit in between.

The 0% row understates one thing worth separating out. Live Dealer, Virtual Sports and every Hot Drop Jackpot game are not merely non-contributing, they cannot be played with bonus funds at all, so a bonus balance will not open them in the first place. And because each promotion states its own requirement as a multiple of either the bonus alone or the bonus plus the deposit, with its own deadline attached, the multiplier printed on an offer page is only half the figure. The base it multiplies and the clock it runs against sit in that promotion's specific terms rather than the general ones.

Deposits and withdrawals

Getting money out starts with a rule that applies whether or not a bonus was involved: every deposit has to be wagered in full first, and a request that has not cleared that can be cancelled and the funds returned to your balance. Approval is quoted at about 24 hours, and the account review that can precede it at roughly 24 to 48 hours. Once approved, the coin decides the rest. Bitcoin Lightning arrives inside 15 minutes, Bitcoin can take up to 24 hours, and Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Litecoin, Ethereum and Tether land inside about an hour. Ignition charges nothing for a crypto withdrawal; the wallet provider's network fee is typically under a dollar, more when the network is busy. The wallet address you paste has to be a fresh one that has never appeared on the blockchain before, and sending one coin to another coin's address loses the funds outright. That split between a review window and a transfer time is the pattern our guide to fast payout casinos works through across the market.

The withdrawal list is short, and it is worth reading before you decide how to deposit, because there is no card on it. Money leaves by cryptocurrency, Voucher, Player Transfer or MatchPay, and Ignition adds that your withdrawal method can be contingent on how you funded the account in the first place. A Voucher runs $10 to $3,000, instantly, with no cap on how often. MatchPay runs $10 to $2,000, also instant, twice a calendar day. Crypto is one request every 15 minutes, and the weekly allowance is where the coins separate. Bitcoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin SV all reach $9,500 a request, but Litecoin permits $180,000 a week and Bitcoin $90,000, while Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Tether cap at $2,500 both per request and per week, which makes them the wrong pick for anything but a small payout. Bitcoin Lightning takes $10 to $10,000 against a $25,000 daily limit. Increments can differ per account, so the cashier is the authority on your own.

Verification and security

Verification, when requested, asks for a government photo ID, a utility bill less than 60 days old matching the account address, a card-verification form, and photos of any card used on the site, reviewed on the same 24-to-48-hour clock as withdrawals. Documents go in as JPEG or PDF to a published verification mailbox, and filing them the day you sign up turns the first payout into a formality rather than a wait. Two-factor authentication is available in account settings for the login itself.

On the way in, the published numbers reward crypto for a plain reason, which is fees. A crypto deposit is free and Ignition states it applies no charge of its own to those transactions. A credit card deposit costs 15.9% or higher depending on the card, displayed on the deposit page beneath the amount field rather than left to be discovered, and that is before anything your own bank adds, which can include a cash advance charge, an international service fee of up to 3% and a currency conversion fee of 5 to 10%. A gift card carries an activation fee of its own, typically 3 to 5%, which is why Ignition suggests loading around $25 to clear a $20 minimum safely. Limits follow the same shape. Visa, Mastercard and China UnionPay take $20 to $1,500, while cryptocurrency tops out at $5,000, Bitcoin Lightning excepted at $10,000. Those ceilings are per transaction with no limit on the number of deposits, so the cap is a transaction size rather than a daily allowance. Crypto minimums are quoted in coin rather than dollars, 0.0001 BTC and 0.01 LTC among them, and a deposit below the listed coin value is not honoured at all.

Poker, casino and support

Poker is the more flexible half on hardware: play in a mobile browser without installing anything, or run the downloadable client on Windows 7 or later, or Mac OS X 10.7 64-bit, which asks for little beyond an Intel Core Duo processor, 1GB of memory and 200-250MB of free disk space. Cash game rake is published rather than left implied: the standard 5%, a cent for every 20 cents in the pot, capped at $1 a pot heads-up.

The casino side needs no install either. Ignition describes a library of more than 300 slots and table games alongside its poker tournaments, divided into Casino, Live Dealer, Virtual Sports and Scratch Card sections, with live blackjack, roulette and baccarat named on the live tables. Finding a specific title means the search icon above the game grid rather than a set of filters, and most games open in practice mode first, which is the cheapest way to read a paytable before it costs anything. Hot Drop Jackpots are the house feature and run in three tiers: an Epic jackpot that grows until somebody takes it, a Daily jackpot that has to drop before midnight Eastern, and an Hourly drop in the three to four figure range that lands every hour on the hour. All three are triggered by landing three jackpot symbols on a spin, all three are real money only, and none of them accepts a bonus or a free spin.

Support is the part Ignition commits to in writing, on a page it calls its Player Commitment, which makes it unusually checkable for this category. Live chat runs 24 hours a day, email is answered within 48 hours, and a moderated player forum stays open around the clock for the questions other players answer faster than an agent would. The same page sets promises around downtime: notice of an unexpected outage within 60 minutes, at least 24 hours of warning before planned maintenance, and 7 days before a change to an existing product or bonus programme wherever that is possible. On the account itself, reCAPTCHA and SMS validation are standard, two-factor authentication can be switched on at login or from security settings, and responsible gaming and self-exclusion routes are linked from every page footer.
